Scouting Update - Announcing Troop 613 Print

February 7 is National Scout Sunday. All Scouts should wear their uniform to church on Sunday morning. Boys from Colonial's Pack 613 will be participating by helping the ushers greet worshippers and hand out Communiques and by assisting with the collection of food in "Bumper Crop." Members of Pack 613 will receive more information soon.

We are also pleased to announce the formation of Boy Scout Troop 613. Our new troop will charter in April. Boy Scouts who would like to transfer into Colonial's troop, or Webelos who are looking for a troop to bridge into should contact us. Of course, boys who are interested in getting started with scouting are also welcome. For information, contact our Scout Master, Tim Taylor at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Men who are interested in helping with the troop should also contact Tim.

Regional Events in 2010 Print

As you plan your year, hare are some regional events for you to consider for yourself and your kids. If you need any information on any of these, you should contact the organization directly. My family has participated in most of these events in the past, and I recommend them all.
